Days of Grunge Gone By
April 11th, 2002
I guess maybe because it’s Spring and I’m feeling free, or the fact that I have nothing else of note to say, but here’s an uncalled for little snippet from my sordid past. It’s a driver’s license circa 1992. Oh, the nostalgia.
The unkempt shoulder length hair. The homemade T-shirt that read an angst-ridden and/or self-loathing message of simply “DIRT.” (Really, it did.) Those were the days of grunge gone by. Will they ever return?
Well, if the lead singer for Puddle of Mudd hasn’t convinced the world yet that Kurt Cobain’s life force was somehow sucked into a jar and recently popped open for timely release, I don’t know what could convince us to break out the flannel.
