Back in the U.S.A.

May 28th, 2002

Suffering a plane flight that was twice as long as the one going to Europe (due, I guess, to the wind), Liz and I are now safely and happily back in the good ol’ U.S. of A, celebrating Memorial Day as lazily as possible. This seems so much more like vacation to us, mainly because we can be off our feet for a while. I’ve never been so happy to return to a desk job.

Right now, I’m going through the hundreds (literally) of digital pictures we took on our trip and will attempt to record some sort of memoir of our adventure. This is a preventative measure to keep everything from becoming a giant memory blur, which is very possible at least in my mind. After that is done, I’ll probably be over with blabbing on about Europe this and Europe that.

Hopefully. Fingers crossed.
