Seventh Heaven

I can now safely vouch for the validity of Photoshop 7. The new upgrade from Adobe, optimized primarily for Mac OS X (and that other OS), has met with this designer’s satisfaction 100%.

With items like the new file browser, which lets you view entire folders at once and cleverly allows for batch renaming, and a plethora of other enhancements made to the way brushes look and work, there are definitely enough features to make this a worthwhile purchase. I’m actually wondering why I thought about it for so long.

There’s even a helpful interactive training CD to get you started with the new features. Undoubtedly, though, the best part about it for me is the new ability I’ve found to scan images without having to boot into Mac OS 9. This brilliant driver just might work with your scanner too.
