Lost in Space

We’ve been suffering a cable blackout for the past three days, which is to say we have no connection to the Internet at home. We’re hoping today that Comcast technicians can repair the damage, which was apparently caused by simply moving our VCR from the downstairs living room to the upstairs bedroom. Who knew!?

We did, however, get a chance to spend some quality time with our nephew and niece this weekend. In fact, we took them to the far reaches of the galaxy when we saw a brilliant 3D movie, Space Station 3D, in its full-sized IMAX glory.

I don’t really have any opinions here—just shear awe at this work which documents the collaborative effort among our nations to build the International Space Station. It’s the closest thing I’ve found to virtual reality yet. If you see only one IMAX movie, it should be this one.
