Processing the Dualie
We got our lovely new dualie G4 this morning and I took a lunch break from work just long enough to get it all set up. Needless to say, I am impressed. Those divots on the front really are speed holes, or they at least seem that way (due credit to the DDR Memory). Booting up took less then a glance at the computer screen and… poof, it was done. Now, I’m understanding why Mac OS 10.2 is being openly marketed with the code name, Jaguar.
But I must say that my favorite part has always been simply unpacking the hardware and taking a look—dipping into the pizza box and unwrapping the keyboard, etc. And the new smell. It’s just simply intoxicating.
Well, I’ve got enough to keep me busy for the next three and a half years anyway…
