Back to Being Totally Square
September 30th, 2002I must have been the only one in the world to have noticed that Photoshop lost a very important function in version 7.0—the ability to draw perfectly round circles using the marquee (by holding down shift click) or perfectly straight lines using the pencil tool (again, by holding down shift click). For a while, I thought Adobe changed the combination. But after trying every key combo on my keyboard, I knew that couldn’t be true. So, I applied the latest upgrade listed on VersionTracker.
Thankfully, the annoying bug seems to be fixed in the 7.0.1 update. Now, the process I use umpteen times daily is restored to working order. The same thing goes with making perfectly square vector shapes in Illustrator. The 10.0.3 update now works marvelously.
I knew I’d end up being perfectly square again.
