On the work front, I’m still getting hammered at my new assignment, trying to learn a fairly complex web system on my own, while looking semi-intelligent to my client. It hasn’t been easy. And the content on this site has paid the price. But since my Eagles missed their chance tonight, I’ve had some time to (mostly) ignore the Superbowl and take a look at some movie previews. Here what I found:

  • From the preview, Old School looks like it picks up the middle-aged antics of Caddyshack and serves it up Will Ferrell style. Can’t wait for that one to come to DVD.
  • Caught a glimpse of the CGI Hulk in the Superbowl preview. Anyone else think it doesn’t work? I’d take a body painted Lou Forrigno over a hundred million dollar semi-cartoon any day of the week but, hey, it’s not my money.
  • Both the Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions look full on bad ass, whereas T3 just begs the question, “Why?”
  • And then there’s The Guru, which I think will become an ironic sleeper hit in the U.S. But will it rival the 80′s Indian tour de force humor featured in Short Circuit? Dear god, let’s hope so.
