Noises Off
It’s been a long time in the reporting, but the operation required to replace my computer’s noisy fan and power supply went without a hitch this weekend. We (yes, Liz was invited to join along in the fun) were smart enough to print out some wise warnings beforehand, which definitely came in handy. We also ended up doing some minor cross referencing in the user manual, but all in all, everything went well.
Now, while there is still a noticeable noise when the machine is turned on, it has been reduced to a significantly less obnoxious baritone buzz. And somehow those once mysterious metal computer innards don’t look so scary.
