Take a Walk!

I was originally going to title this entry What’s So Funny About Peace, Love, and Standing (On My Own Two Feet). But that was a few days ago. Now, the little guy has decided to up the ante and started walking.
It’s funny to watch him get up, take a few steps, and fall on his ass seemingly on purpose. It’s made me reflective of the fact that I’ve secretly (and sometimes not so secretly) learned everything I now do well through a painful process of trial and error. To learn how to do anything right, you must first understand the consequences of messing it up.
Funny how that works, little grasshopper.
